Strengthening the Nation's Character Through Heterodoxy Islam Nusantara in Technology Disruption Era

Abstract

Technology disruption creates many elements in the world run into changing, which is not linear and surprising, including the moral issues and character of a nation. Therefore, this research set out from a concern seeing the portraits more rampant of character the nation's children, which is far from the excellent character this nation. Therefore, this research is done to find the new formula of strengthening character of nation by using local wisdom-Islam Nusantara as its reference source. The research was conducted by using a descriptive qualitative approach that sourced from the existing documents then analyze to find a new formulation according to the topic of research discussion. The result of this research is Model Strengthening National Character through Heterodoxy Islam Nusantara. Islam Nusantara as a product of Islamic heterodoxy in Indonesia will also be adapted from the perspective of character education, and then Islam Nusantara must modify to the needs of character education. Islam Nusantara is able to facilitate all the differences of the national local wealth with Islam Nusantara as a religion that brings the Indonesian nation not only become a nation superior character in the world but also survived in the afterlife. Other local wisdom of Indonesia provides opportunities for other research to continue to be studied so that the ideals of the nation of Indonesia into a nation of strong character, superior and dignified can be realized.
