Nanoparticles: Green Synthesis and Their Antimicrobial Applications
Abstract
Nanotechnology has rapidly evolved into a key interdisciplinary field, profoundly influencing biological research and medical practice. Out of all the different nanomaterial, Silver Nanoparticle are best because they are incredibly effective at killing bacteria and can be used in wide range of applications. The green production of silver nanoparticles utilizing biological sources, such as plant extracts, which operate as environmentally benign reducing and stabilizing agents, is the main topic of this poster. Green synthesis techniques reduce environmental toxicity and provide an economical and sustainable substitute for traditional chemical and physical procedures. The unique physical properties of these nanoparticles, such as their small size and large surface area, give them a better way to connect with and disrupt microbial cells. These nanoparticles show effective antimicrobial activity against a wide range of harmful microorganisms through methods like disrupting cell membrane integrity, producing reactive oxygen species, and interfering with essential cellular functions. This poster also highlights the benefits of green synthesis techniques and discusses possible uses of silver nanoparticles in biomedical fields, including wound healing, antimicrobial coatings, and water purification. With the growing issue of antibiotic resistance, silver nanoparticles made through eco-friendly methods offer a hopeful option for next-generation antimicrobial treatments. Overall, these green-synthesized silver nanoparticles are significant. They provide a sustainable way to create nanomaterials that perform exceptionally well against microbes.
