Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Ayurveda offers a transformative approach to healthcare by enhancing diagnostic accuracy and treatment personalization. Ayurveda, a traditional Indian system of medicine, emphasizes individualized therapy based on the principles of Prakriti (body constitution), Dosha balance, and disease etiology. However, its diagnostic process often depends on the practitioner’ s subjective interpretation. AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics can objectively analyse vast datasets of patient information, including pulse diagnosis, facial recognition, genetic markers, and lifestyle patterns. These tools enable precise Prakriti assessment, early disease prediction, and customized herbal and dietary recommendations. Furthermore, AI-driven models can integrate modern biomedical data with Ayurvedic parameters to create hybrid diagnostic systems that enhance evidence-based validation. This synergy between AI and Ayurveda holds immense potential to modernize traditional medicine, improve patient outcomes, and promote global acceptance of personalized Ayurvedic healthcare.
