Development of Digital Teaching Materials For Procedure Texts Theme is a Typical Malay Culinary Based on a Creator's Book Class Xi Sinar Husni Private High School

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital teaching materials for procedure texts themed on traditional Malay cuisine using Book Creator for Grade XI high school students. This research is developmental research (RnD) using the ADDIE research procedure. The subjects of this study include material expert validators, media expert (design) validators, Indonesian language teachers for Grade XI at Sinar Husni Private High School, and students of Grade XI Social Sciences 1 at Sinar Husni Private High School. The object of this developmental research is digital teaching materials for procedure texts themed on traditional Malay cuisine for Grade XI high school students, based on the Book Creator application. The stages used in this study include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments used in this study are questionnaires filled out by checking (√) the indicators provided, including student and teacher needs questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires, media expert validation questionnaires, and subject teacher response questionnaires. The second research instrument is a test instrument used to conduct pretests and posttests. The data analysis technique used in this study is the analysis of product validation instruments obtained from material experts, media (design) experts, and subject teacher response instruments using a Likert scale to assess the feasibility of the developed digital teaching materials. Additionally, the effectiveness test used in this study applies the N-Gain formula to determine the effectiveness level of the developed teaching materials based on the interpretation of N-Gain effectiveness.
