Abstract

This study makes an attempt to analyse 30 Mechanical Engineering Ph.D theses with 3237 citations which was submitted to Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati during the period 1975-2013. This study presents information relating to bibliographic form, ranking of core journals, language and country-wise distribution of cited documents. From the obtained results it is found that journals are used mostly by the researchers in the field of Mechanical Engineering with 69.78%.
