Abstract

This paper is a systematic literature review created with the help of an existing database on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Retail pharmacies and its future to enable the worldwide improvement of research in retail pharmacies. This research studied papers from esteemed databases, such as Scopus and Web of Science, using the PRISMA technique. Regarding pharmacy practice, Artificial Intelligence was most frequently identified with innovation and creativity to develop new opportunities for retail pharmacy. This analysis included Data from 106 articles that were evaluated thematically. 7 themes emerged from this study. Research gaps have been identified for future exploration of AI in retail pharmacy on the strength of themes. This SLR intends to provide valuable insights into this emerging field of usage of Artificial Intelligence in retail pharmacy, new technology and techniques used in retail pharmacies over the years, and its future. This research is unique as it is the only Systematic literature review study on using Artificial Intelligence in Retail Pharmacies.
